If you are a Harry Potter fan, you are in luck this weekend! A couple of local breweries have lots of wizarding events on tap! It is Harry’s birthday after all!

If you are a muggle, I mean, not a Harry Potter fan, than I recommend heading to Blue Pete’s for some live music with my friend Mark Dunn! If you’ve not been to this venue, you don’t know how much yo...
It’s hot! Here’s some tips!

It’s definitely a hot one out there! Stay hydrated & indoors if possible & follow these tips:

-If you haven’t already, replace your homes air filter. The AC will be working extra hard & a dirty filter can dramatically increase the chances of it breaking.

-Draw your shades! Now, I like natural sunlight but on days like these, it’s best to draw the shades & save your AC from working too hard and freezing. Yea, that’s definitely a thing & it can happen. If it does, ya gotta turn it off & let it de...

But, selling a home that has pets provides a special set of challenges and, thankfully, some pretty easy solutions.

First things first. You love your pets. Heck, I love your pets! But, not everyone feels this way. In fact, its not uncommon for people to be scared of cats, dogs, li...
Things To Do- local wineries

This weeks Things To Do is all about wineries! If you are ready for a change of scenery after the fourth, check out some of the great wineries our region has to offer:

Head north via the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and check out Chatham Vineyards in Machipongo. Set amongst farmland and grape vines, this relaxing winery offers wine flights and peace and quiet! Enjoy the cool AC inside or nature watch outside where it’s very likely you will catch a glimpse or two of frolicking deer that call the easte...
