The official first day of Fall may not be here yet, but cooler, drier fall-like weather is in town all weekend! Which for many of us, comes as quite a relief from the heat and humidity typical to our area. The cooler temps are great for exploring the parks (we have a state park right in VB with entrances off of Shore Drive and Atlantic) beaches (Oceanfront, Chesapeake Bay & Oceanview), or sipping on a local brew at one of the many area breweries. If wine is more your taste, head down to the Neptune Wine Festival at the oceanfront and sample a variety of great wines while enjoying views of the surf and sand.

Another option is to head out into the country to buy some fresh, farmstand food, get lost in a corn maze or just take in the scenery. Despite being very populated area, we do have large rural sections in Virginia Beach, Chesapeake and Suffolk. In fact, I have sold many homes in these country settings and can attest to the peace and calm you can feel while still being 30 minutes or less from a bustling city.

If none of these ideas sound good, maybe it's because you would rather spend the weekend finding your dream house. I personally love showing houses in cooler weather! Give me a call, text or email if you would like to start your search today, tomorrow or even next year. It's never too early to start looking! Have a great weekend and talk to you soon.
