What do these two pictures have in common?

Well, they are both issues commonly flagged by appraisers! Peeling paint and overgrown landscaping is an easy fix, so don’t wait for an appraiser to point it out, be proactive & make sure all the paint in your home is intact and correct any areas that have peeling paint. Always keep landscaping tidy, especially when it’s close to the house. You do not want tree limbs or bushes touching the house for multiple reasons, but when selling your home, it’s a extremely important. If the appraiser says the landscaping needs addressing or the paint needs to be scraped & touched up, you will need a re-inspection once the work has been done. This could cause delays and definitely an avoidable headache!
