It’s Fathers Day weekend and I’m listing events that Dad will love! Let’s get to it starting with some Friday Night Fun!

7pm tonight at Brothers Pizza in Kempsville for a Cornhole Tournament. Cash Prize. Throw some bags, drink some beers and eat the best pizza in town!

Saturday  morning head down to 1701 Baltic Ave VB to shop the Military Owned Market showcasing wares from, you guessed it , military owned businesses. Great way to find some cool things and show your support.

Saturday 12-10:30p its over to O’Connoroo at O’Connors Brewery in Norfolk for music fest and beer!

Sunday 12-4p Wasserhund Brewery in VB is hosting DJs, Dads and Donuts featuring all the dad music he could want plus beers and donuts.

If Dad prefers a quieter scene, head over to the Northwest River Park in Chesapeake. You will need a valid fishing license here if you are 16 or older. This park s stocked with trout, bluegill, crappie and catfish. It’s going to be perfect weather this weekend for a relaxing along the river banks. Pack some snacks and wait for the bite to be on.
