Here’s your list of things to do around Hampton Rds this weekend. One item I left off the list is ‘go shopping’. It’s a tax free holiday in VA from 8/5-8/7 so it’s great time to grab bigger ticket items & save. Now, there ARE limitations so check out the government website for details. Not every purchase qualifies.

The Chrysler Museum is hosting a free , family friendly event around MC Escher. There will be a balloon artist, games and Lego creations as well. See their website for details 

Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge is doing evening tram rides on Fridays in August. If you’ve not been here before I definitely recommend it. Gorgeous views, lots of wildlife and a rich history. Just don’t forget the bug spray. 🕷🦟🪲

VB Water Lantern Festival at Mt Trashmore Park is this Sat. Tickets are required to partake in this beautiful event! You’re probably going to want bug spray for this too. 🦟

Maya Lin’s A Study of Water is at VA MOCA at the oceanfront now until 9/4. This is your chance to view work by a internationally acclaimed sculptor! Check website for hours & details. No bug spray required 😉
