After a rather uncertain Fall, the Winter is showing that folks are not waiting for the Fed to make a move. We are seeing very strong buyer activity but still rather weak home inventory. This means if you would like to sell your home, there are more buyers than available homes. Pretty good math for Sellers! But, this doesn’t mean buyers aren’t being picky. The homes that are going quickly are either very well maintained or priced very low. To sell, you must declutter, keep it clean & make it easy to show. Keep pest control contracts ACTIVE (especially termite control), clean any wood burning fireplaces (repair if needed) and touch up any chipped paint around the exterior. The easier it is to pass any possible inspections, the better. Some buyers may waive the inspection entirely if there is a lot of competing interest in the home & it’s clear the property has been maintained.
Every home sale is different, let’s talk about how to best market & get yours under contract!
